Col. Dr. Adeeb Khawaji is Director of Pediatrics and Head of the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital, Jeddah, where he also chairs the Mortality and Morbidity Committee, the Code Blue Committee, the Rapid Response Team and the Clinical Nutrition Committee. Beyond the hospital, he serves as Head of the Western Region Pediatric Critical Care Society, as an evaluator in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care for the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, as a consultant to the Ministry of Defense on pediatric medico-legal cases, and as a regional evaluator for the American Heart Association. He holds the Saudi Board in Pediatrics and completed his fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at McMaster University, Canada, under the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He further holds a Professional Diploma in Clinical Leadership from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and an Executive Master in Health Administration (Health Services Management and Hospitals) from King Abdulaziz University.
